Andreas Fogarasi is a Austrian artist born in Wien (AT) in 1977.

Andreas Fogarasi’s first exhibition was Andreas Fogarasi at Galerie Transit in Mechelen in 1999, and the most recent exhibition was MI – Andreas Fogarasi / Christian Kosmas Mayer at Vintage Galéria in Budapest in 2020. Andreas Fogarasi is mostly exhibited in Austria, but also had exhibitions in Hungary, Germany and elsewhere. Fogarasi has 45 solo shows and 177 group shows over the last 21 years (for more information, see biography).

Fogarasi has also been in 11 art fairs and in 10 biennials. The most important show was 52nd International Art Exhibition Venice Biennale / Biennale di Venezia at La Biennale di Venezia in Venice in 2007.

Other important shows were at Museum Moderner Kunst Stiftung Ludwig (MUMOK) in Vienna and Ludwig Forum für Internationale Kunst in Aachen. Andreas Fogarasi has been exhibited with Dorit Margreiter and David Maljkovic. Andreas Fogarasi’s art is in 12 museum collections, at Museum der Moderne in Salzburg and Museo Nacional Centro de Arte Reina Sofía in Madrid among others.
