Sculptures by Mattia Bosco Take Over the Colosseum Archeological Park in Rome

For Italian artist Mattia Bosco, working with stone is the most gratifying feeling because, from the beginning, an intimate dialogue transpires with the material. Instead of forcing a shape onto the stone, the artist allows it to emerge spontaneously. Thus, his abstract sculptures are always perfectly harmonious with the site and the situation.

Mattia Bosco's latest exhibition, entitled Kόrai, will be exhibited at the renowned Temple of Venus and Rome, located in the center of the Italian capital. The installation's 12 marble sculptures were crafted by carefully choosing the materials that resonate with the space and its history.
