Lives and works in Madrid.

 

Carlos Alvarez Las Heras is a figurative painter who stands out for his particular use of color and the distortion of time and space.

Influenced by the world of comics, the artist places the individual, in interaction with others and blended into patterned backgrounds of powerful colour, as the central axis of his works.

 

In 2005 he was invited to exhibit at the College of Spain in Paris, where he was rewarded the price The Medal to Artistic Merit in Plastic Arts.
